![]() I suggest you adjust the MXAO in Tab Mode (rather than Game Mode) to achieve the effect you’d like. ![]() Solution: Because MXAO renders differently in Tab Mode than in Game Mode, this is not a fixable issue. The MXAO decreases significantly in Tab Mode. The “edge smoothing” setting within The Sims 4 does not allow ReShade to render depth of field, in order for DOF shaders (such as background blur) to work you’ll need to keep this setting off. Solution: Turn off “edge smoothing” in your game’s graphic settings and reload ReShade. If your computer does not have the hardware and/or resources to run ReShade, it will lag, stall, and skip.Īlternatively you can try to use lighter presets (such as gameplay friendly presets) or, for convivence, only have ReShade on when you are taking screenshots. The issue is more likely your computer’s ability to run ReShade. Solution: Configurations do not necessarily contribute to lag, although presets with more active shaders can require more from your PC. ![]() I’ve complied a list of some of the most common ReShade related issues and complications along with there solutions.
